In the post this week

Here are some of the lovely things I received this week in the post.

First up, is some lovely mint chocolate lip balm all the way from the uk, handmade by cfknits....whom it should be known, is the sister of my boyfriend.
How lucky am I not only to have a wonderful guy, but an amazing sister-in-friend as well. (Even when she fibs and has us all thinking those wonderfully knitted wash cloths were her own.....)

Next up is yet another package from my SP8 pal. I hope she knows how much I love and appreciate how great she is. I can't wait to find out who has been spoiling me rotten for the last couple of months. Sigh....
More merino wool for the yoga mat bag wip; a cool microwaveable corn on the cob (never seen one before); a sock pattern, with instructions for any size foot; a ball of great sock yarn, which i cannot not sign up for sock wars now (will start practicing as soon as i get small enough needles-hopefully the force is within me), and four great knitting pattern cards with blue envelops, just lovely.

And of course because I wrote and published this post even before Friday's mail arrived. It boned me in the buttocks because my SP8 pal also sent this.... holy shit I think it's beautiful, and it will go well with my new jumper.

I retied the bow. Only because I've had lots of practice over the years on photo shoots. And it fits absolutely perfectly. Like I told my secret pal, I may never take it off. Its soooooo pretty.

I love the name 'sister-in-friend'. I never know what to call you and say 'my brother's girl friend, you know, in Cananda, Melinda...', but now I will call you my sister-in-friend!

Anyway, I love the other stuff you got. I'm itching to knit another pair of socks! They were so much fun, but I admit they were a bit of a trial and I want to prepare myself for my second go...

Aha, Piglottie is here, well I should point out that she gave me the recipe for the lip balm! Isn't the world of knitting blogs incestuous?!

I want one of those bracelets Tundra! My favourite colour is purple....;-)

Ooh excelent. Its nearly my birthday, and after that there is Christmas....and it wont take her long because I have the tiniest wrists in the world, she just needs to find a 5 year old child to test it on!!!!

Looking forward to finding out who you are Tundra and looking in on your blog!
