A fun filled weekend in Paris

This past weekend has been spent walking the streets of Paris. Drinking chocolat chaude(Me), espresso(Frost), and wine and eating pain au chocolat, croque monsieur and sandwich au hot dog.

It was my birthday present and I had a fabulous time.

We stumbled upon the cafe which was used in the film Amelie. Ascended to the second level of the Eiffel Tower. Went on a boat ride on the Seine. Had a picnic in the Jardins de Luxembourg and the best thing of all walked passed Clive Owen!!!!! It was great because as we were passing him, i thought to myself, "that man is very handsome, that man looks familiar, oh my god it's Clive Owen." Of course, Frost didn't notice him at first and before we had the same debacle when we passed Ron Sexsmith in Toronto a few months ago, I quickly stopped us in our tracks and pointed him out. Being Canadian too of course I thought of chasing him into Louis Vitton and asking of an autograph and photo but reserved myself in the fact that seeing his gorgeous self on a street in Paris was enough for me. I must say that boy is very very tall and yummy looking too.

On a hot summer day in June, I sat with my colleague on a paris street. We had just bought a bag of chocolates and we were on a mission to find a place to stop and EAT them all. We found a pair of church steps and there we sat in the sunshine, eating our French Chocolates. What a nice memory you have evoked in me by reading of your adventures. Paris is beautiful and I am happy you are there enjoying this city, too.
