I have finally gotten around to felting these babies. Are they not the cutest? I am super uber pleased with the results, they knit up very quickly, especially since I'm using addi turbo needles. And you thought I didn't knit.........

This post was first drafted up on March 2nd, it took me about two months after the third clutch was knitted to attempt felting. The best thing about felting was discovering that the hot water tap to the washing machine had been turned off. We have only been living in the new flat for a year. I am glad to report the fear of felting has finally left me.
Oddly enough pre felting I liked the freedom of twilliys clutch best. However, it's been four days since it was felted and it's still not completely dry-which is totally pissing me off. Now the Debbie Bliss is my favourite. Not a surprise there I guess. As for embellishing the clutches, the freedom one doesn't require it, and so far I like the plain and simple look of the other two.

Wowsers! Great colours. Felting is so magical!
Good morning! Great to see you last night. I decided to rip back that bag I'm working on because of the little strands that are sticking out. And ooops, I was supposed to be using chunky yarn!
I agree no trimmings required - the green and blue clutches are perfect as they are and will look lovely with jeans or a little black dress.
